We've found a significant need among our client base for floater frame
moulding, as many on the market typically have one of two problems.
The first issue is that the frames do not have an adequate depth, which
means that oftentimes the canvas protrudes past the frame. The other
issue is that if the depth is sufficient, usually the finishes and
stains are low in quality.
To solve this situation, we came up with our own line of
custom-designed and manufactured floater frame mouldings. Our clients can
choose from one of four rich, elegant stains and hand-rubbed finishes.
The sufficient depth to the frames- cut, joined and finished to our client's
specifications - along with a deep, rich, hand-rubbed stain and ten coats of
genuine lacquer make the difference in quality clearly apparent.
"I use nerwin&martin custom frames for all of my museum works on paper.
It's absolutely vital to me that my print works achieve their maximum emotional
connection with the viewer through total and unique craftsmanship all the way
through... My goal is for the viewer not to distinguish from where the artwork
begins or the framing ends - as my artwork is encased within a work of art
inseparable from the object I place within it."
