We've found a significant need among our client base for gallery frame
moulding, as many on the market typically are not deep enough for
proper insertion of strainers. As strainers come standard with our
framing, we needed to manufacture our own profile with our own finishes
to meet the needs of our clients. The sufficient depth to the frames-cut,
joined and finished to our client's specifications - along with the choice
of one of six deep, rich, hand-rubbed stains and ten coats of genuine lacquer
make the difference in quality clearly apparent.
"I use custom frames for all of my museum works on paper.
It's absolutely vital to me that my print works achieve their maximum emotional
connection with the viewer through total and unique craftsmanship all the way
through... My goal is for the viewer not to distinguish from where the artwork
begins or the framing ends - as my artwork is encased within a work of art
inseparable from the object I place within it."
